This page explains what data Minus4 collects and why. It stays lean: no tracking cookies, pixels, or fingerprinting.

What we collect

• An email address only when you actively opt in after viewing a roast. It is used solely for occasional announcements about new Minus4 seasons and major feature launches. It is not linked to automatic gameweek emails.
• For that consent we record the normalised email address, consent wording version, date, source, status, and any later unsubscribe date. Older league-specific subscriber records remain separate and are not moved onto the product-update list.
• Roast views (aggregate only) per league, gameweek, and source (email, share, generate, other). We store counts by day to see which roasts are viewed; no IP, user agent, cookies, or identifiers are stored.
• League data from the public FPL API (standings, manager snapshots, stats) needed to generate the roast. We store the computed roast output and supporting payloads to serve/share the report and improve freshness.

Retention

Product-update consent records are retained for no longer than 24 months without renewed engagement. Withdrawing consent marks the record as unsubscribed. Legacy league-subscriber data is retained only to preserve existing records and honour withdrawals; it is not used for product announcements. Roast view counts are aggregate only. Roast payloads and outputs may be stored so existing links continue to work and repeated requests can use the same roast.

How to opt out

Use the public unsubscribe page or email us to withdraw. Minus4 sends no welcome, gameweek, confirmation, or announcement emails during this relaunch. Any future announcement email will include an unsubscribe link.
